On Saturday, November 6th the Foothill Band competed in the
Bands of America Regional in St. George, Utah. Of the 26 bands competing,
Foothill was a Finalist. This is the first time that a Nevada band
has made finals in two different BOA competitions in the same year. We will
be performing our half time show at the play-off game at Las Vegas HS this
Thursday. Our final competition of the year is this Saturday, November 13 at
4:00pm at Sierra Vista HS. Thanks for all of your support.

Additionally, the Foothill Saxophone Quartet and Clarinet Quartet were the
only woodwind ensembles from CCSD selected to perform in the Solo & Ensemble

We are the 1st school from Nevada to compete in this event. On Thursday,
April 15 the Drum Line competed in preliminary completion with approximately
60 groups. Foothill advanced to Semi-Finals with 20 other groups and
performed again later that night. That evening we found out that we
had advanced to the Final round with 11 other groups. On Friday, April
